2017 - AVMA

              "75% of the Workforce will be Millennials by 2030. How will you Adjust?"

After six months of practicing medicine, one of my dear friends from vet school and I submitted a speaking proposal to AVMA. We wanted to be the millennial perspective of the larger discussion about millennials in veterinary medicine. Our proposal was accepted, and we spoke at AVMA Convention 2017 in Indianapolis, just one year after graduating veterinary school. We are grateful to the AVMA for giving recent graduates the platform on which we could teach others how to empower millennials and harness their talents to improve our industry.

2018 - AVMA

             "Building the General Practitioner - Emergency Relationship"

We were invited back to AVMA to present our talk about millennials for a second time. We also presented a unique discussion of the strained relationship between general practitioners and emergency veterinarians. There was active audience participation, and the conversation on how to mend and strengthen the relationships between general practitioners and emergency veterinarians was sparked.
